The professional strategy for nursing and midwifery will set out a compelling vision for the long-term future of our professions up to 2040 focussing on our professions’ vital role in delivering the ambitions for a modern health and care system in England.
To do this we need to consider how our professions will transform to meet the needs of our changing population across all settings and embrace opportunities in the context of the wider strategic direction of travel, including commitments in the 10 Year Health Plan.
